Aah, yes. The age old tradition of visiting Santa. Am I crazy, or did I get it wrong that this was supposed to be a fun experience? No more timeouts, now all I have to do is threaten a visit to Santa to keep the kids in line.

We seem to be on a downward spiral with Santa. Each year seems to be worse than the one before...see for yourself.

At least last year, Vivienne wasn't crying. Barrett's arms and facial expression are almost exactly the same!

Barrett is like a little blob. I don't think he even had time to realize what was going on ... definitely not smiling, but so far it's the least amount of tears in all 3 years worth of pics.
Maybe next year will be a little better? Or maybe I'll stop the baby-torture...but....probably not. It's too late, it's already a family tradition. And, I must confess I get a royal kick out of these pictures. I might be the worst mom ever as I'm hysterically laughing while my kids are crying.
Why is it so funny to see kids scared by santa!??
Hope it brings a smile to you, at least.
Happy Holidays from our happy family to yours!

I love Santa's reaction to your crying children. Just think how precious these pictures will be in a few years when they willing sit on Santa's lap.
We just saw Santa and our 5 year old sat nicely and our 1 year old sat with Mrs. Claus and we got the picture with her little lip trembling. So cute.
These are hilarious! Barretts first pics and his face...I literally LOL'd.
We are 0-2 here...I kind of prefer the crying pictures myself :) Cute kiddos, as always!
OMG...totally LOL right now at 12:20am...going to bed with a huge smile, and looking forward to what my Tommy will do when we see the REAL Santa on Monday. He did well last year, slept through the first year...we did go for a ride on the Santa Express last week, and he did okay sitting next to him, telling him what he wanted...and also when he brought Tommy a gift at a friend's house on Saturday night, arriving on a fire truck. Just not sure how the lap thing will go...LY we got the pic with a smile before he realized what was happening!
